SAND CASTING

Our Sand Casting facility is manufacturing Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel and Stainless Steel Castings as per the customer’s requirements by following international standards like ASTM, British and EN Standards.

Specializes for the supply of all types of Alloy Steel, Special Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex & Super Duplex SS and Ni-Base alloy castings to your requirement.

Producing on an average of 150 to 160 Tons of castings per month with the ratio of 60:40, Carbon steel & Stainless Steel castings.

Facility regularly manufactures Duplex & Super Duplex stainless steel castings for Pump & Valve castings to our valued customers & also we have qualified the welder & weld procedure by third party for DSS grades.

POWER BACK UP:

Connected with 800KVA EB power & also with own captive power of 1 No. 500 KVA, & 1No. 320 KVA diesel generator sets, which helps to meet committed delivery schedules.

MELTING EQUIPMENT:

Installed a 350 KW power input, 2NOS OF 750 kgs, and 175 kw power input, 2NOS OF 300kgs capacity medium frequency induction melting furnace and we can supply castings as below.

  1. Carbon steel, stainless steel and all other alloy steels
  2. Maximum single pc weight 500 Kgs

INSPECTION AND TESTING:

Established a complete quality control / inspection facility and laboratory. We have N.D.T. in-house facilities like D.P. TESTS, M.P. TEST, UT and RADIOGRAPHY TEST.

APPROVED CERTIFICATES:

Accredited by ISO 9001:2000 certificate by DNV and also approved for PED–MMC EN 10204 3.1 by DNV, a certifying body from NORWAY.

PATTERN SHOP:

We have an in house pattern shop facility for the developmental activity and for the development of new patterns we are sub-contracting from out source.

CAPTIVE MACHINE SHOP FACILITIES:

Towards the total customer satisfaction as well for the up gradation we have our captive machine shop with which proof machining is carried out for  hydraulic testing purpose on all castings & for CNC machining we are out sourcing from approved vendors near by.

Enclosed herewith a list of plant and machinery for manufacturing and testing to assure quality in our foundry for your reference.

MELTING FACILITY:

Pillar induction make medium frequency: coreless induction melting furnace of 350 KW powers, 2 Nos of 750 & 175 KW powers, 2 Nos of 300kg melting furnaces with all accessories, including liquid metal temperature indicator.

With the above furnace, all types of steel-carbon steels, stainless steel, Ni alloy can be melted & castings can be poured to single piece weight of 10.0 kg to 500 kgs.

1) Sand Muller 350 Kgs Capacity.           : 1 set with accessories
2) Air compressor with Air receiver tank: Ingersoll-Rand make 1no 200 CFM screw compressor & 3 Nos of 40 CFM each
3) Molding Boxes.                                       : 300 Nos. various sizes.
4) Sand Rammer                                        : 3 Nos.
5) Core baking oven                                   : 1 No.
6) Core Sand Mixer 50 Kgs. Capacity     : 1 No.

Other Inhouse facilities are also support as below :

Fetting & Finishing, Sand Testing, Chemical Laboratory Inquipments, NDT Testing, Heat Treatment, Material Handling and Table Type Short Blasting Machine.
